WHEN YOU BELIEVE IN ME.

When You Truly Believe in Me… 

Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. John 14:12.

Did you know that those who believe in Me can do the works I did on earth? If you are not doing those works of faith, it’s either because you have not yet realized the power and authority I have given you or because you don’t understand what I mean by believing in Me. Believing in Me is not simply holding the opinion that I am God’s Son. Churches are filled with people who say they believe yet live contrary to My teachings. Many even call Me Lord, but they don’t do what I say. The person who says he believes in Me but doesn’t do what I say is deceiving himself. To believe in Me is to hunger for My words and to follow Me by obeying My teachings. Child, I know you want to follow Me. You hunger for My teachings, and you strive to obey them. That’s why My promise to those who believe in Me is meant for you. If you abide in My words, your faith will grow, and you will do the works that I did.

Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock. Matthew 7:24.

Secretly Do Good Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites  do—blowing  trumpets  in  the  synagogues  and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! The Right Way to Give. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be  in  secret.  Then  your  Father,  who  sees  what  is  done  in secret, will reward you.
