BECOME LIKE A LITTLE CHILD.


Become Like a Little Child  I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3 

Why must you become like a little child to enter the kingdom of heaven? Little children believe. They believe with their whole hearts. When they talk to My Father, they rightly believe He is listening. When He answers their prayers, they know that He answered them just because He loves them. When I tell them that something is wrong, they believe it and avoid it. When I whisper that they should do something good, they do it without hesitation. Little children are tender-hearted. They give to those in need, even when they have little to give. They are slow to judge and quick to forgive. They love to love and are grateful for anything they are given. When they see someone hurting, they instantly comfort them. Are they perfect? Of course not. Are they sometimes selfish? Yes. But they always want to do better. Most important, they listen to Me, they trust Me, and they love Me from their hearts and with their actions. They follow Me. My child, though you may be fully grown, you are still My precious lamb. Become like a little child and follow Me, without delay, with your whole heart.

For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted. Luke 14:11.

Called to Be Wise.  Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:16. As it is written, “How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen above silver.” Understanding is knowing the ways of the Father.
