Do You Want to Be Happy? Learn Gratefulness!

Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you. Mark 5:19. 

Child, I understand what you are going through. I know that your circumstances, struggles, and disappointments steal your happiness. Listen to Me. Though adversity can knock you down, it can keep you down only if you let it. It knocks you down because it takes you by surprise. Whenever you remain in unhappiness, it is because you allow the Adversary to keep your heart focused on your circumstances. You allow him to magnify the adversity, blinding you to everything My Father and I have given you. You allow the momentary raindrops of your circumstances to blind you to the vast ocean of eternal blessings that We have given you. Your salvation and your relationship with Me are eternal! You remain in unhappiness only because you close your eyes to the Father and to Me and to everything We have given you. Get back into My words and let them continually refresh your heart and remind you of all you have been given. Then go and tell others of the great things I have done for you.

However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven. Luke 10:20.

Secretly Do Good Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites  do—blowing  trumpets  in  the  synagogues  and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! The Right Way to Give. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be  in  secret.  Then  your  Father,  who  sees  what  is  done  in secret, will reward you.
