I Chose You for an Eternal Purpose
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. John 15:16
The call of My Gospel has gone forth throughout the earth. Many have ignored it. Others have responded with religious commitments, but their hearts were never converted. You, on the other hand, are among those whom I have chosen. Since you have been born again, your mind is being renewed, and your heart is being transformed by the washing of My Word.
But I chose you with an eternal purpose in mind: to bear much fruit that will continue to glorify your heavenly Father. The fruit I am talking about is a life of faith and obedience—a life that glorifies God with attitudes, words, and deeds that flow naturally out of a transformed heart. I am the vine, and you are a branch. A branch doesn’t struggle to bear fruit. It simply remains in the vine and allows the life-giving sap to flow through it to produce fruit.
If you will consistently meditate on My words, the Holy Spirit will produce His fruit in you. Listen to His promptings today. Let Him bear His fruit in your life moment by moment. Then the world will see Me in you, and that will bring great glory to our Father.
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. John 15:4.
Blessings, Eva.
