WHAT DO YOU BENEFIT ?

Don’t Trade Your Greatest Possession for Worthless Gain  And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? Matthew 16:26. 

My dear one, are you distracted or seduced by the treasures of this world? Do you spend your time pursuing the things of this life and neglect your own soul? People often value that which has no worth beyond this life. No matter how much they gain, they always hunger for more. They love the things of this world rather than My Father, Me, and that which is of eternal worth. They have truly lost their souls. Child, don’t be fooled. This world is not your home. Your soul is your most precious possession. Nourish it with My words—morning, noon, and night. Don’t envy those who trade their souls for the things of this life. All their pleasures will come to an abrupt end, and their woes will last for eternity. When you feast on My words, they will provide the food that will keep your soul healthy and strong, and your heart will be yoked to Mine. My Father and I will become your true delight, and you will be like a giant tree planted by the waters. You will store up treasures in heaven that will bless you and others throughout eternity.

A man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions. Luke 12:15.

Called to Be Wise.  Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:16. As it is written, “How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen above silver.” Understanding is knowing the ways of the Father.
