GREAT COMMISSION.

THE GREAT COMMISSION AND YOU Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19–20 .

Child, you have been called into the kingdom, not just for your own blessing, but to bear much fruit. And the greatest fruit you can bear is that of becoming My true disciple and leading others into discipleship. You are My true disciple when you abide in My words and follow My commands. My commands will not weigh you down; they will lift you up. They will reveal the will of the Father for every situation you encounter. They also will empower you with grace to do the Father’s will in every situation. They will set you free from the snares of this world. They will give you the power to glorify the Father in everything you do. But being My disciple isn’t the end of your calling; it’s only the beginning. I have called you to make disciples of others. You do this by teaching people to discover and obey My commands. If you will accept this call, I will give you the power to make disciples of everyone who wants to follow Me. This includes your family, your friends, and people you haven’t yet met.

If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:31–32.

Called to Be Wise.  Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:16. As it is written, “How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen above silver.” Understanding is knowing the ways of the Father. Wisdom is knowing how to walk in the ways of the Father in every moment. Ignorance is not knowing the ways of the Father, and foolishness is choosing to walk in your own ways rather than the Father’s ways.
