EMBRACE TRUTH AND AVOID DECEPTION.

Called to Be Diligent to Embrace Truth and Avoid Deception Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, “I am the Messiah.” They will deceive many. Matthew 24:4–5.

It is easy for people to claim to be My followers and even My representatives. Some are, but many are not. Remember, on the last day many will tell Me of the miracles they performed in My name. But I will tell them, “I never knew you.” They have not only deceived others. They have deceived themselves, thinking that performing miracles is proof that they are My followers. But their hearts are far from Me, and their lives are defined by iniquity and lawlessness. Child, do not fall into their deceit. You must discern who are My disciples, not by their words or their works of power, but by their works of righteousness. Do you see them obeying My teachings and commands? My true disciples walk in My commands and teach others to obey all that I have commanded. My true disciples will not be revealed by the doctrines they embrace but by the lives they live. Are they building their lives on the rock of hearing My words and doing them or on the sand of hearing My words and then not doing them? Be vigilant and diligent to follow those who hear My words and act on them.

Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Matthew 7:15–16.

WHERE IS YOUR HEART?

Where Is Your Heart?  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.  Matthew 6:21. The greatest commandment begins with “Love the Lord your God with all your heart.” This is so important because all behavior flows from your heart. Anything you treasure more than the Father will prevent you from loving Him with all your heart. This is because your heart focuses on that which you treasure and becomes bonded to it. That prevents you from becoming bonded to God. You may ask, “How can I treasure God more than anything else?” It happens when you get to know Him as He really is.  The more you get to know the Father, the more you will treasure Him. The only way to get to know Him intimately is to look at My life and hear My words and do them. When you listen to Me, you will hear the Father. ADDING FAITH.

Adding Faith to Your Prayers   I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:23–24. My disciples often struggled with misunderstandings and inconsistent experiences with faith. They prayed but often without believing they would receive what they asked for. Initially they didn’t understand the nature of faith—what it is and where it comes from. Today many of My followers have the same problem. They think faith is simply a matter of mental agreement or positive thinking. But mental assertion alone does not produce the kind of faith that transforms lives and moves mountains.
