Growing Your Faith Have faith in God. Mark 11:22 .

There is so much deception in the world. People talk about believing in themselves, even loving themselves, as if these are powerful redeeming virtues. They are neither powerful nor redeeming. A drowning man cannot save his life, no matter what he believes about himself. And self-love diminishes one’s love for God and others. How foolish to place your faith in yourself or in any human. Even angels, in all their power, cannot save a person from the bondage, judgment, and condemnation of sin. Faith in anyone other than God is blind and impotent. Only My Father and I give life to the dead and rescue those who have no strength to rescue themselves. Child, I know you want to grow your faith in the Father and Me. That’s what We want as well. But there is only one way you can grow your faith: hear My words and do them. To gain the faith to walk on water, Peter first needed to hear from Me. Once he had My command, he could place his entire weight on the rock of My word. Child, I have given you My words. If you will simply hear them and do them, your faith will grow beyond your imagination.

Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God? John 11:40.

WHERE IS YOUR HEART?

Where Is Your Heart?  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.  Matthew 6:21. The greatest commandment begins with “Love the Lord your God with all your heart.” This is so important because all behavior flows from your heart. Anything you treasure more than the Father will prevent you from loving Him with all your heart. This is because your heart focuses on that which you treasure and becomes bonded to it. That prevents you from becoming bonded to God. You may ask, “How can I treasure God more than anything else?” It happens when you get to know Him as He really is.  The more you get to know the Father, the more you will treasure Him. ADDING FAITH.

Adding Faith to Your Prayers   I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, “Go, throw yourself into the sea,” and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:23–24. My disciples often struggled with misunderstandings and inconsistent experiences with faith. They prayed but often without believing they would receive what they asked for.
