You Are Worth So Much More Than You Can Ever Imagine

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep. John 10:11.

I know there are times when you feel like a failure. You think, How can God still love me? And yet I’m telling you that My Father and I love you more than you could ever imagine. We don’t love you because you have earned Our love. And We don’t stop loving you because you’ve earned Our disdain. We love you because it is who We are. When you were dead in sin, having no hope whatsoever, My Father loved you with an indescribable love. He sent Me to live and to die for you. We could not unite with you because of your sin. But now, through your faith in Me, you’ve exchanged your sin for My righteousness. Because of My atoning sacrifice, you have been cleansed of your sin and clothed with My righteousness. Your worth is not based on what you have achieved or earned. It is established forever by Our love for you and proven by what We have done to give you gifts that are greater than any others—mercy, forgiveness, cleansing, and eternal life. I laid down My life for you. That is how much you are worth to Me!

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16.

Secretly Do Good Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites  do—blowing  trumpets  in  the  synagogues  and streets to call attention to their acts of charity! But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be  in  secret.  Then  your  Father,  who  sees  what  is  done  in secret, will reward you.
